The Outsiders

Fitting in with society and changing iodins character and personality to accommodate others is a common problem among teenagers and young adults. When one loses someone close to them, they start to realize how important the people they care about are. Ponyboy learns that he must accept the atrocious things that have happened in his life and move on. Ponyboy realizes that because of his poverty he will have to go through tougher situations in life. Ponyboy learns to bag on to the ideals that once made him young and innocent. Ponyboy gains knowledge and comes to the consort that he can learn from his enemies, and that sometimes people do not m atch the reputation they have been given.
